DREAMSCAPES IN MOTION
I'm Masha - a multidisciplinary visual artist, filmmaker, performer.
Born in Moscow and raised in a small German village, I've carried the feeling of dislocation and longing with me, a feeling that became a creative force. It led me on a global journey through Nepal, Australia, Japan, Morocco, South Korea, Thailand, and beyond learning, performing, and absorbing the beauty of foreign cultures, aesthetics, and spirit along the way.
My work lives at the intersection of performance and visual poetry. Asa filmmaker and fire performer, I create dreamlike experiences that blur the line between reality and surrealism. I'm especially inspired by cyberpunk, futuristic landscapes, moonlight, neon cities, and vast deserts.
I studied Film and Media Studies, where I fell in love with experimental and avant-garde cinema - from David Lynch to Jodorowsky. This opened my mind to narrative as something fluid, symbolic, and emotionally charged. I joined the global Kino Movement in 2018, collaborating across disciplines in Berlin, Dublin, Moscow, and Helsinki. My short films - such as Dimension Z, Modern Man, Lucid Rose, and Unplugged - explore inner transformation, surreal realms, and the edges of human experience.
My creative process blends performance, camera work, editing, and now - AI. I recently began exploring AI-generated visuals, producing new cyborg-inspired artworks and experimental videos. This marks the next evolution of my vision: merging technology with emotion, the digital with the divine. I collaborate with artists, performers, fashion creatives, and visionary brands - offering music videos, visual direction, styling, editing, performance, and creative storytelling.
I also create fashion films and custom visual content for artists and brands. Always open to creative collaboration.
