about me
My name is Masha Kirillova aka Masha Moon. I’m a filmmaker, photographer, actress and fire performer — moving between visual worlds and the real one.
I was born in Moscow, studied Film & Media in Germany, and shaped my artistic voice through traveling around the globe.
Australia opened the door to fire and movement.
Japan, especially Tokyo, revealed my love for neon cities, night colors, and urban solitude.
Those places still live in my work.
I create images that feel like scenes from a film — quiet, atmospheric, futuristic.
My biggest inspirations are Wong Kar-wai, Blade Runner aesthetic, neon landscapes, escalators, industrial cities and people who move through these worlds like they are on a secrete mission.
I photograph artists, dreamers, and people who want to be seen in a more cinematic light.
I love capturing that moment when someone becomes the main character of their world.
Right now my focus is on cyber-cinematic portraits, night stories, and blending fire with city textures.
And hopefully one day this path will lead me to Hong Kong. Until then, I’m building these worlds wherever I am.
